Big Photovoltaic Power Facilities Planned For Greece & Japan

A variety of major most recent solar plans in Greece and Japan have just been established.

In Greece, a contract for a 32 MegaWatt solar powered facility is in developing. The 50 million euro venture is presumed to be finished in less than a year.


In Japan, major solar promoter Softbank is preparing to put together an 111 MegaWatt solar Solar facility in Tomakomai, Hokkaido administrative district. This solar venture is presumed to be functional in 2015.

Japan is obviously a growing solar market. It is presumed to be the world’s 2nd largest solar Solar market this year and Japanese banks have predicted that the Japanese solar market will be valued at 19 USD billion in the preceding years.

Softbank started to be dedicated regarding green, solar energy preceding the catastrophe in Fukushima. Since then Softbank has developed a 39 MegaWatt solar power facility in Yonago and it created a project to build solar panels on 1000 Japanese households.

Softbank is in fact a Telephone corporate. It is located in Tokyo and is the 3rd largest mobile service in Japan.
